I was sitting at Jupiter House, just sort of people-watching. It suddenly occurred to me that all of these Random People had souls! I've never met them; I'll probably never talk to them, but they have souls. They've got fears and insecurities, ambitions and goals, inside-jokes with their other friends that I'll never meet. It's crazy. They're just as complex as me, though that may be a bad example...
The preaching before the track is Matt Chandler, as many of you probably already knew. I'm pretty positive that this sermon was in the back of my mind even as I was people-watching. It was too perfect not to include... I didn't ask his permission, so if you see him, don't tell him.
Oh, and fun fact: I love how "random people" join in and sing "there are no random people." Actually, I really had no idea who a few of them were... we went to the downtown square in Denton and asked a few people if they'd like to help record some gang vocals. There really are no random people, but there are some people that I had never met before on this track. Crazy, right?
